Reimagining Community Development Post COVID-19

It is a pleasure to be writing to you today to invite you to be part of an upcoming event, Reimagining Community Development Post COVID-19, taking place Friday, June 16, 2023, from 4:30 pm to 6 pm – Rideau Hub – 815 St. Laurent Blvd, Ottawa ON K1K 3A7, at the Cafeteria hall.

This event is being hosted by our community partners The Social Planning Council of Ottawa. This event will also be the launch of the new initiative coming out of SPCO “G7 – Grassroots Ethno-cultural Groups Collective Impact”

We recognize and respect how valuable your time is and would like to offer this invitation to give you ample time to consider joining us and our partners at SPCO. We are aware of your commitment to influencing systems change, community development, and contributing to an equitable city. 4. The Role of Public Health in Supporting Community Development Post Covid-19 – Presenter, Nuradiin Mohamud (OPH: ACB Community Mental Health)

5. Building Resilience Through Collaborative Community Development – Presenter, Rebecca Aird (Ottawa Community Foundation)

6. Social Investment: Community wealth building for Community Development – Presenter, Henry Akanko (United Way East Ontario)
