Building Bridges: Policy Development
The Building Bridges project works to increase the understanding of anti-racism, Indigenization and faith in Canada from a 2SLGBTQI context to foster dialogue between historically diverse groups and 2SLGBTQI serving organizations to work toward the elimination of racism, prejudice and discrimination in Canada. This project is a collaboration between Egale Canada, The Enchanté Network and Rainbow Faith & Freedom, with financial support from Heritage Canada.
Join us for a series of webinars focused on anti-racism, Indigenization, and faith within the 2SLGBTQI community that explores how 2SLGBTQI community-serving organizations can employ intersectionality as an organizational practice for Community/Solidarity, Accountability, Reflexivity, Equity and Sustainability CARE(S).
Session 2 explores how organizations can foster belonging through policy development. The objective is to discuss the ways marginalization is (re)produced at the level of policy and organizational procedures and how this can be addressed through a lens of CARE.
