Good to be Good: International Women’s Day Event 2024

Hosted by GOOD TO BE GOOD (GTBG)—a nonprofit that aims to advance gender equity by supporting women and gender-diverse people at the intersection—the community event and market showcase is our annual gathering to mark International Women’s Day 2024.

Our #IWD2024 event will showcase diverse women and gender-diverse people-owned small businesses, creators, creatives, and entrepreneurs in Toronto, including small and startup product and service-based companies and entrepreneurs from GTBG’s Change Make-Her support programming.

We’ll come together to:

  • connect,
  • learn,
  • hope,
  • rally support for a collaborative approach to inclusive communities and futures;
  • as we build new bridges with one another and commit to empowering women for a better tomorrow.

Join us on the Sky Yard rooftop at the Drake Hotel Toronto, Sunday, March 10, at 12:00 PM. Delight in a variety of market displays and showcases available for purchase or support, savor delicious treats from Olive & Fig, enjoy refreshments from Barbet, enjoy good music by JJ Rock, and be inspired by uplifting International Women’s Day stories throughout the gathering.

This event is free with an option to donate to GOOD TO BE GOOD at the door and online. All ages are welcome to attend. The space has limited capacity, every guest must RSVP through this Eventbrite page or email Ava at community@goodtobegood.ca.

MORE ABOUT THE EVENT

We encourage anyone with an interest in gender equality to attend the whole event.

This event is sponsored by our partners, The Drake Hotel. Join them on social media @thedrakehotel and @thdrake for future events. Special thanks to Olive & Fig and Barbet for their sponsorship. Thanks to Onni Pizza Ovens, bluboho, Health Hut, and Blush & Bloom for their support.

This event is taking place on unceded, traditional, and ancestral territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and has been home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. Particularly for this production centred around community and gathering, it is especially important to remember and recognize that we are on stolen land which we are privileged to share our work on.
