Across the world, LGBTQ2S+ people often face significant patterns of exclusion involving the loss of support from families and friends. Included in this larger pattern of exclusion is the loss of one’s faith, spiritual or religious community, which for many has resulted in a crisis of faith or identity. However, faith communities do not have to be inherently exclusionary and can also be a place for belonging, affirmation and inclusion for LGBTQ2S+ people.
Join us for a panel discussion on the intersection of faith and queer identity that will explore spirituality as a tool for recognizing, protecting, and supporting the human rights of all.
The event will be in English with bilingual (English and French) Q&A.
