In recognition of Menstrual Health (MH) Day, recognized internationally as Menstrual Hygiene Day, Changing the Flow, in collaboration with Kitchener Public Library, invites you to We Are Committed. PERIOD.
A celebration of community members working together to end period poverty and achieve menstrual equity.
Menstrual equity is about awareness, raising visibility and making change.
It starts as soon as you enter the space, with a curated display of books on menstruation in the main foyer.
As you approach the main staircase, Visceral Tide, an art piece created by local artist and menstrual equity activist Olivia Carvalho (she/her), will be hanging for 28 symbolic days from the stairwell leading to level 2 from May 16th to June 13th.
Join us on the 2nd floor, from 11am to 2pm.
